Dele Agbogun - PMP  Managing Director/CEO

Dele is responsible for setting direction for all operations of the company globally. He started his career in Nigeria, working on several gas and steam driven power plant projects. He later joined Shell Group initially based in Nigeria where, over a period of nearly 20 years, held various positions in Nigeria, the Netherlands and the USA.

Throughout his career with Shell, he has been engaged in managing multi-billion $ projects in the upstream oil and gas sector and has acquired worldwide experience in dynamics of the energy industry. Dele holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from DeVry University in Houston USA. A certified Project Management Professional, Dele brings a wealth of knowledge of the oil and gas industry in the USA, UK, Netherlands and Africa, acquired through many years of industry experience including serving in; Shell Petroleum Development Company (Nigeria), Shell International, prior to establishing Bowalds Energy.




    Dr Wilson Balogun - MIET, MAPM, FIBM
    Executive Director/COO

Dr Wilson is a global Entrepreneur and certified global business leader with exceptional energy and drive.

A certified Global Entrepreneur, Dr Wilson is the Chief Operating Officer and an Executive Director of Bowalds Energy responsible for the business development and operations of the company globally. He has a varied experience encompassing project portfolio management, business development, strategic market development and Project Management Office (PMO) using prince 2 methodologies.

His career spans across the sectors of Energy, Oil & Gas as well as Telecoms and international trade. He has held diverse roles in UK and the West African region. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Minna and a Master’s degree (MSc) in Project Management from University of the West of Scotland (UWS) UK.

He is Prince 2 certified. Known for his drive and quest for knowledge, Dr Wilson has attended many international professional and leadership courses, conferences and seminars. He is a full member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) United Kingdom and the Association for Project Management (APM).

A passionate lover of humanity, Dr Wilson supports multiple NGO’s across the world in his quest to ensuring a better life for the less privilege and vulnerable in our society.

Wole Obawole

Creating – Optimising – Realising – Sustaining Oil & Gas asset values.

An accomplished facilities engineering and business development professional in the Oil and Gas energy sector. Currently consulting as technical adviser for independent E&P companies in the UK and Nigeria, he provides clients with asset/field development planning and management insights towards maximising value in the life of their asset/field portfolio.

In his about 30years of work experience, he has acquired a wealth of experience in technical and commercial disciplines with majors and independents such as Royal Dutch Shell, Premier Oil, EnQuest and Oando. This ranged from engineering and construction of field facilities and infrastructure projects to economics and corporate business planning roles at mid-management cadre. Amongst other accomplishments, he has engineered and managed development concept studies for marginal green fields and facilities optimisation, including life-extension for brown fields.

Wole was facilities engineering lead and business development adviser at Premier Oil UK and later General Manager at Oando Group for Facilities and Infrastructure projects engineering. He is co-founder and owner of Bowalds Energy Ltd, with a mission to provide quality local expertise in asset/field development engineering and technical safety services to operators Nigeria and the West African sub-region.

A honours graduate of Mechanical Engineering from University of Ibadan, Nigeria’s premier university, Wole started his career with the Heinekens group as a management trainee at Nigerian Breweries and in his less than four years stint rose to senior engineer level prior to leaving for the oil and gas sector. His spare time is spent with his family and volunteering work with charity bodies such as CAPRO Nigeria & UK, Aberdeen Street Pastors. He loves hill walking and nature watching.
