Peter is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering and also has an MSc in Process Safety and Loss Prevention from Sheffield University UK. He has over 30 years’ experience in the major hazard industry sector. Peter has worked in design, projects, operations, asset integrity, and corporate strategy with the last 15 years specialising in HSE.

Peter’s skills include: developing and improving HSE management systems, HSE strategy development, process safety training, HSE leadership coaching, HAZOPS, HAZIDS, management system and technical integrity audits, project HSE reviews and process safety management reviews.

His career started in UK offshore (where he was an Offshore Installation Manager) and onshore hazardous industries. He has worked in Kazakhstan, Canada, France, Iran, Holland and Austria for extended periods with assignments in Russia, USA, Pakistan, Singapore, Australia, Romania, New Zealand, Italy, UAE, Norway, Nigeria, Switzerland, Singapore, Gabon, Iraq, Libya and Tunisia. He is a visiting lecturer on the same course at Sheffield University.

Peter has been appointed by the UK Institution of Chemical Engineers to be a Course Director for their internationally renowned program of Process Safety training programs. He has worked with many successful organisations in the international energy sector: BC Hydro, Shell, ConocoPhillips, Lasmo, National Grid, Petrom, OMV, Sterling Energy, BG Group, Afren, BP, Network Rail and Addax Petroleum.

Peter is based in the UK.
